Hi Reluca,
I'm really glad that you got your Initiative in Romania up and running! Great work!!! So what kind of things were you thinking of planning for your high school??? What aspect of Burma were you going to raise awareness about? That'd have a big effect on what kind of thing i could suggest you do. I'm sure you dont need my suggestions Reluca, but i'd love to help you, and i might be able to get some idea from you for events we can do at my highschool.
Yours Most Truly, and good luck with everything you do,
Thin Kyu

Hi, this is Raluca, from Romania. How are you? I haven't heard from you for quite a long time... You know, now I'm co-ordinator of the Initiative for Burma in Romania and I hope very soon I'll organise a few awareness actions in high schools in Bucharest-starting with my high school, of course ;-) Could you pls give me some ideas about it?
Good luck with all the great things you do!
Your friend,
Raluca

Dear Tyka,
Thank you.
You can help out by sending letters to the burmese governement (see our current appeal on the Political Prisoners Page). There are many other ways you can help as well, have you checked out the US Campaign for Burma Website, they are very good, and organise many events.
Thank you once again. We will make a difference.

Dear all,
My name is Raluca Enescu, I am a Romanian high schol student and I need your help for a project I'm working at-called "Burma's history, from 1989 'till now, told by people who have lived it"
Has anyone of you or someone you know been involved in a democracy movement? Is anyone you know a pollitical prisoneer, or anyone who has suffered in any way for his/her pollitical oppinions? Has anyone of you met Aung San Suu Kyi? How have you been affected by the regime's oppression?Tell me all about it! I need stories you've lived or seen with your own eyes.
Please send anything you want to tell me to ralukutza_dreamygirl@yahoo.fr
Thank you,
Raluca
